Andrea Alesi is part of the husband-and-wife team that founded Path to Possibilities
Path to Possibilities has been with us practically since we opened, and we’re so grateful to be working with them.
Path to Possibilities is dedicated to providing personalized and compassionate support to individuals navigating the Self-Determination Program. The Self-Determination Program (or SDP) is a California State program through the Department of Developmental Services which allows individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families more freedom, control, choice, and responsibility in choosing services and supports with their local Regional Centers. Among services offered helps people participating in the SDP a range of support services such as behavioral consultation, goal-setting, and financial planning.
What We do Together
Andrea and Chris Alesi are the husband-and-wife team behind Path to Possibilities. Andrea is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and Chris is an Independent Facilitator. Both Andrea and Chris have donated their time and expertise to Mendo LEAP’s program design and development, which has truly enriched our offerings and services. Andrea also serves a critical role on our Board of Advisors.
Path to Possibilities has been hosting our monthly Neurodiversity Nights with us (formerly known as Family Nights) since Summer 2023. When we started, Andrea would present them as parenting support classes. We had surveys that visitors filled out with different parenting workshop topics on it, and from there we came up with a monthly plan of what she would present at the monthly Family Night. Since then, our monthly Neurodiversity Nights have grown into a fun and informative community gathering space.
“We (MendoLEAP and Path to Possibilities) believe that collaboration is at the heart of creating, true, meaningful and lasting change. Working with Mendo LEAP has highlighted the power of networking and building a strong community relationship to support and uplift families. By working together, we create spaces where families feel heard, empowered, and confident in advocating for their loved ones. When we listen, connect, and encourage one another, we strengthen the foundation for a lasting impact. ”

How it Started
Andrea left our first review ever on Yelp after she had her daughter's birthday party at our facility. I connected with Andrea and from there we could talk for hours about our passion for serving families. We quickly found that we both share a love for this region and are committed to doing our part to better it, and as we sought ways to support each other's work an encouraging and motivated friendship grew.
We are so very grateful for the support Andrea and Chris have given Mendo LEAP.
